liars and lunatics ...

the holy festivities of Ramadhan can be considered the most celebrated amongst other religiously divine celebrations especially in my home country. it being one of the largest Muslim nations in the world simply is self-explanatory. after a long full month of vasting, the Muslims nationwide indulge in prayer sessions in mosques and rejoice to celebrate their spiritual victories. and how do they celebrate? by gathering with families and close friends. they forgive one another and in return they ask for forgiveness for the wrong doings they have committed. it's very meaningful and sacred. not to forget of course, what good is a celebration without FOOD? hehehe. splendid presentations of exquisite Ramadhan cuisine will be served on the table just like the Queen's royal dinner. well, maybe not. nevertheless, royal or not, the spirit of the season is here for at least two days. the city aka the workplace should be desolated during this period, deserted from any sort/form of activities besides .. errr, celebrating? *i should probably start using a thesaurus by now. LOL* everybody is back in their home towns with their families, relatives, and friends. the only two things that remain busy are the telecommunication provider and the inter-provincial transportation service. hahahaha. the phones will be ringing alongside the buses, the trains, the planes, and the ferries for a common reason: connecting people. *if you are wondering whether i am paid to write this part of my post by NOKIA, unfortunately i am not! though i must say that the build-up was kinda gooood. LOL* with the tremendous volume of traffic, it eventually brings about an increase in the number of accidents occuring. how unfortunate. so for those who are travelling, please stay safe and sober. both on your way home and back! hihihi. having said all that, i just wanna say that i miss my family very much. i was on the phone with them last nite. although my family doesnt celebrate Ramadhan, they feel spirited to celebrate as well. hahahahha. how kiasu. LOL. it is a custom for my family and our relatives. everybody sleeps over at one home and just enjoy each other's company in spite of the very short period of time we have. i could literally sense everybody's presence yesterday on the phone. laughters, food, and good times. plus this year there's a bonus too. every single one of my close relatives whom i hung out with when i was a kiddo have gathered together! how rare a chance, since we are now living our own lives so to say. school and work basically. different places as well which makes it alot harder for us to meet up like that. sighs. well, i missed it. maybe next time tho. hihihi. and i am sure there'll be one in the future =) and after that, one with my old friends. wooohoooooooo. watch me fly home peeps! wakakaka. alritey then. hev a good one yo. 2007 is only 2 months and a week away! LOL. me out now. Cheers.

is it fate or random circumstance ...

someone once wrote me: "it should start somewhere, it should start sometime. what better place than here, what better time than now". the following post you are about to read is indeed one of the best scripts ever written in my entire life. no kiddin! LOL. it would be such a waste of creativity and effort if it never gets published. procrastination is a sin. especially when something this gooooodie comes around your corner. wakakakaka. enjoy peeps. Cheers.

Chapter 7: The Colours of Love (Authored by: that guy KheBho)

It is nothing but only normal for two human beings to fall in love for each other. And for so many people, their first encounter with the bittersweet taste of love started as early as when they were still in high school. The story below tells the much-talked-about, the great and the UNIQUELY mind-blowing saga of love that happened right in this school Sri Utama back in the early days, made famous by the pioneer batch of Indonesian students enrolled at the school at that time.

It was funny, romantic, sad, resentful, passionate and in a few occasions, suicidal! Put it in one word, it is simply complicated, why? because there were just too many characters involved!

" B likes C, B confused and told D about it. D got friendly with C and it was only a matter of time before D fell in love with C. D was already going out with F at that time, he also got confused. E and I was D's closest friend, E and I knows everything about D.

E was already with someone called G who was L's ex. L has a friend called M who once questioned L on what is so good about G that make L love G so much . I was also hooked up already with K. One day E broke up with G for some reasons, and not long after, D also called it an end with F for stupid reason. Suprisingly it didn't take long for F to get a new partner, it was L!

Seeing D got so close to C, B probably was angry and/or hopeless at that time. Then came into the picture is A, who then eventually hooked up with B. B was smiling again.

Without D's knowledge, E is having it on with C behind D's back. D found out, both C and E was sorry. The three of them became friends again.

Then came graduation, everyone's leaving and going to different direction. B was "playing" around with H (whom was then an object of affection/lust for many people like X, Y and Z) when A was not around, they called it an end. C and E also didn't quite make it far. Neither I and K.

I for some reasons turned out to be a self-acclaimed seeds planter. I was trying to get it on with just anybody within I's grab. With C, with A and it was to be believed that I was trying to get it on with F also. Only God knows how many people has fallen into I's trap."

and the story continues from year to year...

Some of you readers might questioned the integrity of the story above. It could be a myth, a fable, a fairy tale, a true account or whatever it is you want to believe. But the message that the author is trying to say is... It is only fair for you who have read this chapter to decide for yourself -young reader- whether you are ready to face all the ups and downs and sideways of the many colours of love at such a young high-school age? what will be your story like? how are you going to play your character? is it gonna be the lonely suicidal guy who slashes his skin with a pocket knife everytime he got rejected? the you-should-be-proud-that-I'm-actually-talking-to-you kind of ermm.... whore? or that goofy lovefool who is waiting to be saved in the name of love? But really, the one million dollar question is whether you and your friends can create even a more complicated saga of love in Sri utama with more twists and turns and drama? Please, no actual killing or getting someone pregnant should be involved in the making of your story.

Good luck, you are in a journey now.

It is sad to say that the author of this chapter has limited capability on keeping tracks of how this what-seems-to-be-a-never-ending tale of love continues, simply because "damn" (he said) ... too many characters and its all web-tangled everywhere.

Note: at the time this book is being published, the Author is still single and looking and he can't figured out why. Bless him.

Next Chapter: It's all Politic!
in this chapter you will learn how to abuse the power that is given to you if you are selected to become a class monitor or school prefect.

the last laughter ...

let's write about something lite now. i had enough of the why-life-is-so-hard-on-me theme tat's been eating me away and misguiding y'all readers into thinking tat i am suicidal or something like that. LOL. if this is true, then i am not. no worries peeps; i can be anything but suicidal. wakakakakaka. we live only once, so why not have it all in this one? woooohoooooo. god knows when the next one comes around - if ever. hahahaha. last tuesday i went to hit the cinema. it's all day matinee so them tickets are only selling for 4 bucks. sweeett eh? well, that depends. and why? because it wouldnt be well if you happened to sit in the wrong theater, watching the wrong flick. HAH! tat's rite, tat's rite. crack up all you want now! coz god knows when i will ever be tat reckless again. LOL.

i went to the ticket booth and said "one for The Guardian please". she didnt say anything so i paid the cash and strolled straight into the cinema. apparently it was kinda full. the good rows at the rear were almost all seated already. i remembered i was wondering what's going on here for a sec. The Guardian has been showing for the third week now and yet still there are so many people. i thought the whole shit made sense coz today is cheapo day. so what the heck. found myself a really good spot in the center of one of the best rows at the back. it was just perfect. waited for about 10 minutes and the feature presentation began. the narrator's voice sounded strangely very familiar and i had a pretty good idea of his identity. i thought "what the hell?!?! this is old Jack Nicholson. he is not in this movie, is he?" i blotted out that thought as quick as i've gotten it. "no way man. no way" i confided myself. a few more scenes and that's it. the title materialized itself on the screen before my very eyes. The Departed. DANG!?#$%^&*-+!?#$%^&*. i was literally speechless and yet finding it was all very amusing. i ran my hand in my jacket's right pocket and grabbed the pass. it says: Cinema 1 - The Departed in big, bold letters. HAHAHAHAHAHA. very funny i thought. how can this happen? i dunno myself. i wanted to get out but as i said it was a full house - it's the premiere of The Departed this week - plus i was sitting right in the center. so what the hell. i sat there for the rest of the show. fortunately i haven't seen the english version of this movie (it's based on the infamous HongKong's
Infernal Affairs) and i enjoyed it. it was a good watch for sure. hihihi. so there you go mates. i dont even have to try to be funny and yet the joke still finds me. wakakakakkaa. and for the last part, check this out! apparently even super heroes make jokes! LOL. enjoy peeps. Cheers.

it's too much to hope for ...

It's too much to hope for a life without pain,
It's wrong to expect a life without pain,
For pain is our body's defense.
No matter how much we dislike it,
And nobody likes pain,
Pain is important,
And,
For pain we should be grateful!
How else would we know,
To move our hand from the fire?
Our finger from the blade?
Our foot from the thorn?
So pain is important,
And for pain we should be grateful!
Yet,
There's a type of pain that serves no purpose,
That's chronic pain,
It's that elite band of pain that's not for defense.
It's an attacking force.
An attacker from within
A destroyer of personal happiness
An aggressive assailant on personal ability
A ceaseless invader of personal peace
And,
A continuous harassment to life!
Chronic pain is the hardest hurdle for the mind to jump.
Sometimes it is almost impossible to jump,
Yet, we must keep trying,
And trying,
And trying.
Because if we don't it will destroy.
And,
From this battle will come some good,
The satisfaction of overcomig pain.
The achievement of happiness and peace, of life in spite of it.
This is quite an achievement,
An achievement very special, very personal,
A feeling of strength
Of inner strength
Which has to be experienced to be understood.
So, we all have to accept pain,
Even sometimes destructive pain.
For it is part of the scheme of things,
And the mind can manage it,
And the mind will become stronger for the practice.

"The reason for including this poem, with the kind permission of its author, is that it was written when Jonathan was only nine years old!" -- quoted from Who Ordered This Truckload of Dung by Ajahn Brahm, pg. 110/111.

in times of despair, all my troubles - in a funny way (more than anything else) - always brings me back to this poem, which i read a few months ago. somewhat, somehow it eases my heart and releases me from the burden. it is true yet ironic in a way. a life without pain is indeed too much to hope for ....

if we cannot see ...

You were born with a heart that can never be filled
And a head like snow that can never be still
There are streets paved with gold that shine so bright
But you force yourself to look away
If we can’t see now we might never see
We only kill ourselves more slowly
If you can’t find love then you will finally see
How we kill ourselves slowly
The words that fall from your mouth
They crystallize and break on the ground
And everything you want you don’t have
But you force yourself to look away
If we can’t see now we might never see
We only kill ourselves more slowly
If you can’t find love than you will finally see
How we kill ourselves … slowly
If you can’t find love
Than you can’t find me
If you close your eyes
Than you will finally see
That you’re already here with me ..........
