the last laughter ...

let's write about something lite now. i had enough of the why-life-is-so-hard-on-me theme tat's been eating me away and misguiding y'all readers into thinking tat i am suicidal or something like that. LOL. if this is true, then i am not. no worries peeps; i can be anything but suicidal. wakakakakaka. we live only once, so why not have it all in this one? woooohoooooo. god knows when the next one comes around - if ever. hahahaha. last tuesday i went to hit the cinema. it's all day matinee so them tickets are only selling for 4 bucks. sweeett eh? well, that depends. and why? because it wouldnt be well if you happened to sit in the wrong theater, watching the wrong flick. HAH! tat's rite, tat's rite. crack up all you want now! coz god knows when i will ever be tat reckless again. LOL.

i went to the ticket booth and said "one for The Guardian please". she didnt say anything so i paid the cash and strolled straight into the cinema. apparently it was kinda full. the good rows at the rear were almost all seated already. i remembered i was wondering what's going on here for a sec. The Guardian has been showing for the third week now and yet still there are so many people. i thought the whole shit made sense coz today is cheapo day. so what the heck. found myself a really good spot in the center of one of the best rows at the back. it was just perfect. waited for about 10 minutes and the feature presentation began. the narrator's voice sounded strangely very familiar and i had a pretty good idea of his identity. i thought "what the hell?!?! this is old Jack Nicholson. he is not in this movie, is he?" i blotted out that thought as quick as i've gotten it. "no way man. no way" i confided myself. a few more scenes and that's it. the title materialized itself on the screen before my very eyes. The Departed. DANG!?#$%^&*-+!?#$%^&*. i was literally speechless and yet finding it was all very amusing. i ran my hand in my jacket's right pocket and grabbed the pass. it says: Cinema 1 - The Departed in big, bold letters. HAHAHAHAHAHA. very funny i thought. how can this happen? i dunno myself. i wanted to get out but as i said it was a full house - it's the premiere of The Departed this week - plus i was sitting right in the center. so what the hell. i sat there for the rest of the show. fortunately i haven't seen the english version of this movie (it's based on the infamous HongKong's
Infernal Affairs) and i enjoyed it. it was a good watch for sure. hihihi. so there you go mates. i dont even have to try to be funny and yet the joke still finds me. wakakakakkaa. and for the last part, check this out! apparently even super heroes make jokes! LOL. enjoy peeps. Cheers.

  • I just catch that movie earlier with a couple of my friends. To be honest it's way below par compared to the original Infernal Affairs. It also doesn't help that they try to squeeze in all the 3 parts into 1 giant long movie. Anyway, can't blame them...Scorsese is a great producer but when the script is written by Brad Pitt... YES THE VERY SAME BRAD PITT THAT IS SHAGGING ANGELINA JOLIE!!

    I found it a bit boring and too machochistic ala mafia and Boston hoodlum. Reminds me of that Clint Eastwood flick with Sean Penn and forgot the other actor's name already. But it was sometimes too corny and too fast. I hated the ending doesn't explain much why dignum shot Sullivan. And a bit of dry humor but nonetheless great acting by the oldies Martin Sheen and Jack Nicholson. Anyway, $10 gone for a movie. Hopefully something better comes up on the big screen soon.

  • ~ I think sullivan's wife must have then told dignum about what really happened (remember she still got that envelope...) and he must have shot sullivan for a revenge. Walao.. kiasunya meh... 10 bucks only.. while u already eraning ehem ehem... u havent even treat me ci fan man! hahaha.. seriously im not joking.. haha joke lar joke lar.... ~

    u didnt watch the HK version dude? u should yo. it's better i think. btw ember, her body is a wonderland *nyolong euy nyolong* wakkakakaka.

    :pooch ++
    u want to ask me wats wrong with the movie? NOTHING! i think u are wrong. wakakaka. joke lar joke lar dude. well, everyone is entitled to their own opinion rite? so do u. honestly, i didnt understand the movie when i watched the HK version of it. DANG!@$%^# somehow this one i understood. LOL. btw wat u have against b-pitt eh?!? i think he's cool yo. wakakkakaa. n did he really wrote the script? no kiddin ... lastly, where's my ci fan? LOL

    :unimated ++
    here's my take on the ending: i tot he was also an insider for the mafia. didnt even cross my mind tat he killed him for revenge. and the envelope .. i tot it's the money DiCaprio earned for his work. he knows the possibility of him dying plus he has no family/close friends. thus the best person to give it to is the sexay lady. hehehehehe. AND she's pregnant with his baby. i think Sullivan's ehem ehem. LOL. so there u go. hihihi. btw shenks for the songs dude! gonna check 'em out when *they* are gone. LOL. Cheers.

    :jessica ++
    BIG HEY! laughter is the best and cheapest medicine for my problems. LOL. it's good to hear from ya tooo! i hope school is doing great. despite the weather. sighs. anyways i think the artist of the song is Yiruma and Love Me is the title. supposedly a Korean pianist. there you go. see u around. take care. Cheers.

  • Ahh....the Singlish is catching up fast on you guys eh?? Cifan? Anytime of the day man!! Just call my cellphone xxxxxxxx....hahaha actually it should be reserved for my special someone...like the caller ID "restricted" on that Sprint phone!! Hehehe....But yeah, HK movie is much better coz it's so lame that those Boston mafia would be ploying a steal on microprocessor chips! I work in electronics company and it's not that easy to smuggle things out no matter how small they are!! ahahaha..so very lame. HK is so realistic with their gangsta style hack and chop and of course with the so much more believable drug crime! Actually in the HK movie it ended the same way, just that it was much clearer since it's made into trilogy! Ha!! CHeck out my blog for updates soon bud! It's been a while since I suspect some "rats" are creeping around my crib!
